(Adnkronos) – China has announced the temporary suspension of some non-customs countermeasures against the United States, following the agreement reached last weekend with Washington for a reciprocal reduction of customs duties. The measure represents a new step towards de-escalation of the long trade war between the two economic powers.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce explained in a note that, to implement the “consensus reached during the high-level economic and trade negotiations”, Beijing will suspend for 90 days some restrictions imposed on dozens of US entities.
