(Adnkronos) – Premier Giorgia Meloni welomed her Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis at Villa Doria Pamphili in Rome on Monday before an intergovernment-summit kicked off, Meloni’s office stated on Monday.
Meloni and Mistotakis were set to hold talks on the sidelines of the summit which will include a plenary session attended by an Italian and a Greek delegation, the statement continued.
A joint declaration and remarks to the press are expected in the afternoon after an exchange of agreements ceremony, according to the statement.
