(Adnkronos) – The Chinese embassy in Khartoum has published a post on its social channels urging all compatriots to “leave Sudan immediately”. The warning, addressed only “to Chinese individuals and not to institutions”, comes after five days of drone attacks on Port Sudan, the de facto capital of the military government, and after Amnesty International announced that the United Arab Emirates have supplied Chinese-made weapons to the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitaries, engaged in the conflict against the regular army.
