(Adnkronos) – Italian major Eni’s Plenitude renewables and retail unit reported a proforma adjusted operating profit of €604 million and adjusted net profit of €311 million last year, up 17% and 41% respectively from 2023, Eni said in a statement on Thursday.
“Plenitude achieved solid financial results again this year, reaching over 1 billion euros EBITDA, accompanied by significant operational growth,” said the company’s CEO Stefano Goberti.
“We want to continue working with commitment according to Plenitude’s distinctive business model, which combines investment in profitability with its sustainability goals: a winning synergy for the energy transition”.
The results are in line with the company’s growth to over 4 GW of installed capacity in 2024, with more than 10 million retail customers and over 21,000 electric vehicle charging points, the statement said.
The company aims to achieve over 11 million customers and 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2028.
Plenitude is active in more than 15 countries globally with a business model that integrates power generation from renewable sources, the sale of energy and energy solutions and an extensive network of electric vehicle charging points, the statement noted.
