(Adnkronos) – A woman was injured on the Tokyo subway by a man who attacked her with a kitchen knife and was then arrested. This was announced by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, according to Japanese television Nhk. The woman was injured in the head and neck, but is conscious, the TV continues.
Police are investigating the attack and the Namboku line of the Tokyo subway has been suspended, the broadcaster adds.
