(Adnkronos) – Drone attack on Port Sudan, for the third consecutive day target of the RSF paramilitary forces. Sudanese army sources reported that a drone “hit the civilian section of Port Sudan airport”, after the military base at the airport had already been attacked two days ago. Another drone hit the main army base in the center of Port Sudan, with witnesses reporting that a nearby hotel was also hit. A third attack targeted a fuel depot near the city’s port, where international and UN agencies and hundreds of thousands of people have moved from Khartoum, as the civil war entered its third year.
Both the military base and the hotel hit are located near the residence of the head of the Army, General Fattah al-Burhan, at war with his former deputy, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, who commands the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
