(Adnkronos) – The Interior Minister Catalin Predoiu, a liberal, has been appointed interim premier, following the resignation of the Social Democrat Marcel Ciolacu, who left after the historic success of the far right in the first round of the Romanian presidential elections. Former Minister of Justice, Predoiu, 56, had already been head of the interim government in 2012.
