(Adnkronos) – Chilean authorities have urged residents to evacuate the Magallanes region, at the southern tip of the country, after issuing a tsunami warning following the 7.5 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of the country. “We ask to evacuate the coastal region of the entire Magallanes region,” President Gabriel Boric wrote on X, urging residents to follow the recommendations of the authorities.
