USA, car into after-school students in Illinois, 4 dead including children

(Adnkronos) – Four people between the ages of four and 18 have died after a car plowed into students at an after-school center in Chatham, Illinois. NBC reports, citing police. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker called it “an inexplicable tragedy” and expressed his condolences on ‘X’, saying he was “saddened by the deaths of children and the injury of many. Our community has lost innocent people who had their whole lives ahead of them.” 

Police have opened an investigation and explained that the person who drove the car into the after-school center was not injured and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
