(Adnkronos) – In Spain, Red Eléctrica hopes to clarify “as soon as possible” the causes of the mega blackout of the past few hours. “The conclusions will arrive as soon as possible because it is in everyone’s interest – said the director of Red Eléctrica’s Operational Services, Eduardo Prieto, in statements relaunched by Spanish newspapers after a press conference – But we cannot commit to a deadline that goes beyond ‘as soon as possible'”. “I can express the interest that it be as soon as possible,” he added, referring to a job that “could take time”.
Red Eléctrica has “ruled out a computer security incident at the electricity grid facilities and the electricity grid control center”.
