(Adnkronos) – At least nine people have been killed and another 60 injured, including children, in an overnight Russian missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reports, adding that falling drone debris sparked several fires and it is feared that several people may be trapped under the rubble of a destroyed residential building.

Explosions were also reported in the northeastern city of Kharkiv, which is also under attack. At least two people were injured. The attacks come just hours after US President Donald Trump accused Volodymyr Zelensky of damaging peace negotiations, after the Ukrainian president ruled out recognizing Russian control over Crimea.
