(Adnkronos) – At least 151 people were injured in the six earthquakes that struck the Istanbul area of Turkey, the strongest measuring 6.2 on the Ritcher scale. This was stated by the governor of Istanbul, who said in a note that “151 of our injured citizens are receiving the necessary treatment in hospitals and their lives are not in danger”. The note specifies that ”no loss of life has been recorded”.
At the moment, no particular damage to buildings is reported, except for an abandoned one that collapsed in our district of Fatih. Most of the injured are among people who, in panic, jumped from buildings.
