Sudan, G7 calls for immediate and unconditional end to conflict

(Adnkronos) – The G7 has called for ”an immediate and unconditional ceasefire” to the two-year conflict in Sudan. “We call for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and urge both the Saf and the Rsf to engage meaningfully in serious and constructive negotiations,” the joint G7 statement said, referring to the Sudanese army and the Rsf paramilitary group.
