(Adnkronos) – “We are committed to closing all negotiations” for Albania’s accession to the EU “by 2027”. This was stated by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, meeting with European Council President Antonio Costa in Brussels. Today, Rama continues, “is a very positive day for us, because we have another conference and we are opening other chapters” in the accession negotiations.
“I am very, very grateful” to President Costa, he adds, “for the time he has dedicated to me, to talk about the progress we are making in this process and then about the next summit” of the European Political Community in Tirana.
“It is a very, very important event in general – continues Rama – but it has a particular importance at this moment and, naturally, for the region to which the President is particularly dedicated”.
