(Adnkronos) – Trade tensions should not hinder cooperation between the European Union and China. This was stated by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez after meeting with President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
“Both Spain and Europe have a significant trade deficit with China that we must commit to correcting,” Sánchez said at a press conference, adding that “we must not allow trade tensions to hinder the potential growth of relations between China and Spain and between China and the EU”.
