France, Le Pen case, man arrested for threatening to kill judge

(Adnkronos) – The four-year prison sentence and five-year ban from running for office with immediate effect imposed on Marine Le Pen continues to hold sway in France. A 76-year-old man was arrested for threatening Judge Benedicte de Perthuis, who convicted the French right-wing leader. On his X account, the man used a sexist insult against the judge, along with a photograph of a guillotine, the prosecutor’s office explained to AFP.
