3 Aprile 2025

(Adnkronos) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has criticized the “unprecedented” US tariffs, calling them a return to “19th century protectionism” and proposing a new 14.1 billion euro package to support the economy in response to Trump’s decision. The premier also said that Europe, in response, should implement a package of anti-tariff and other measures, and set up an aid fund financed by the proceeds from countervailing duties.
