(Adnkronos) – The appeal filed by Marine Le Pen against the four-year prison sentence, two of which were suspended with an electronic bracelet, will be examined “in a timeframe that should allow for a decision to be reached in the summer of 2026”, the Paris Court of Appeal announced this evening. The ruling will therefore arrive before the 2027 presidential elections in which the leader of the Rassemblement National would like to run. Pen’s sentence, against which she has appealed, also includes ineligibility for five years.
