(Adnkronos) – The death toll from an explosion at a mosque in the Andijan region of Uzbekistan has risen to at least three dead and ten injured. The toll was confirmed by local authorities. The explosion was caused by a gas leak, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said, adding that investigations are underway. The news comes during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations, at the end of the month of Ramadan.
