(Adnkronos) – 170 Buddhist monks are still missing due to the collapse of the U Hla Thein temple in Myanmar, following the powerful earthquake that occurred on Friday. This was reported by the Indian army team sent to Myanmar to provide relief after the earthquake. There were 270 monks gathered in the temple to take a religious exam when the earthquake struck. At the moment, the death of 50 monks has been confirmed, while 70 managed to get to safety.
