(Adnkronos) – Over 1,400 people have been arrested in connection with mass protests that have swept Turkey since March 19, following the arrest of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported this. “To date, 1,418 suspects have been arrested in illegal demonstrations held since March 19, 2025,” he wrote on X.
