(Adnkronos) – US citizen George Glezmann, arrested in December 2022, was released after two years in detention in Afghanistan and is currently traveling to Qatar. A source close to the matter revealed this to Afp.
“US citizen George Glezmann was released today after more than two years in detention in Afghanistan. His release was negotiated through US and Qatari mediators,” the source explained.
