We expect Russia to accept this proposal without conditions.” This was stated by the head of Ukrainian diplomacy, Andrii Sybiha, quoted in a note from the Kiev Foreign Ministry a few hours before the expected conversation between US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. For Sybiha, “it is time” for Russia to “show if it really wants peace”.
