18 Marzo 2025

(Adnkronos) – Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal has announced that the Baltic country, a member of NATO, will increase its defense spending to “at least” 5% of GDP starting next year.

“Estonia will raise its defence spending to at least five percent of our GDP starting next year. Our goal is clear: to make any aggression against us unfeasible. Russia has not changed its goals and its imperialist ambitions. This is a real threat to Europe and NATO,” Michal wrote on X.
