(Adnkronos) – Donald Trump has announced that he has “no intention” of easing tariffs on steel and aluminum. Aboard Air Force One, returning from Mar-a-Lago, the US President told reporters that he does not intend to make exceptions: “No, I don’t intend to,” he clarified. He instead reiterated the commitment to impose reciprocal taxes starting April 2 to remedy trade practices that Washington considers unfair: “April 2 is a day of liberation for our country,” he said. “Billions of dollars have already entered our country and the bulk of the money will arrive from April 2”.
