(Adnkronos) – First hearing for former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte at the International Criminal Court (ICC), which has accused him of alleged crimes against humanity for his fight against drugs. Duterte appeared via video link before the judges. He was informed of the crimes he is accused of and of his rights as a defendant.
Duterte, 79, is the first Asian head of state to face ICC charges.
