UNHCR’s Grandi thanks Luxembourg for support

(Adnkronos) – United Nations refugee agency chief Filippo Grandi has expressed gratitude to Luxembourg after its foreign minister Xavier Bettel underlined his country’s unwavering support for UNHCR. 

“Truly grateful to @Xavier_Bettel for reaffirming very concretely Luxembourg’s support for UNHCR,” Grandi wrote on X (formerly Twitter) late Wednesday. 

“In difficult times, it is important to be able to count on strong allies,” the tweet underlined.
