Divided into two entities, one Serbian (Republika Srpska) and the other Croat-Muslim, since the end of the war in 1995, Bosnia has been at the center of strong tensions since, at the end of February, Dodik was sentenced to one year in prison for failing to comply with the decisions of the High Representative for the implementation of the peace agreements.

In a new step in the crisis, the federal prosecutor’s office, which has opened an investigation for “attack on the constitutional order”, ordered the arrest of Dodik, Stevandic, and Viskovic on Wednesday, who will be heard by the prosecutor.
