(Adnkronos) – Donald Trump has signed an executive order that provides for the creation of “a strategic bitcoin reserve” in the United States. This reserve, explained the White House advisor for Artificial Intelligence and cryptocurrencies, David Sacks, will represent “a sort of digital Fort Knox” (the US gold reserves are located in Fort Knox, ed). According to Sacks, the United States already owns 200,000 bitcoins, for a current value of about 17.5 billion dollars (just over 16 billion euros).
