(Adnkronos) – European unity and cooperation with the United States are key to ensuring the West stands together in guaranteeing Ukraine’s and the whole of Europe’s security, Italy argued on Thursday.
“In my speech at the European People’s Party summit, I reiterated the fundamental importance of European unity,” foreign minister Antonio Tajani wrote on X from an EPP summit in Brussels.
“Europe will have to meet the US to guarantee the unity of the West and together ensure the security of Ukraine and the entire Old Continent,” the tweet added.
