(Adnkronos) – South Sudan’s Oil Minister, Puot Kang Chol, has been arrested. This was announced by his spokesman Sirir Gabriel Yiei Ruot on Facebook.
“At 2 a.m. on March 5, 2025, the Honorable Puot Kang Chol, several members of his family and his bodyguards were arrested at his residence in Juba. The operation was conducted by personnel identified as members of the National Security Service,” the minister’s spokesman wrote.
