(Adnkronos) – PKK founder Abdullah Ocalan has asked the Kurdish militant group to lay down its arms and disband, in a historic statement read out in Istanbul. “All armed groups must lay down their arms and the PKK must disband,” he said in a statement read by a delegation of parliamentarians from the pro-Kurdish Dem party who visited him in prison this morning.
