(Adnkronos) – The young American woman who allegedly threw her newborn son out of a Paris hotel window, killing him, has been arrested. This was announced by the French police for the protection of minors, who are investigating the case as ‘murder of a minor under the age of 15’. Authorities are considering the possibility of ‘pregnancy denial’, a condition in which a woman remains unaware or in denial of her pregnancy until labor.
According to the Paris prosecutor, the newborn was thrown from a second-floor window of a hotel on Monday morning. Rescuers rushed the newborn to the hospital, but the baby was pronounced dead. The mother was traveling through Europe from the United States with a group of young people. She was taken for medical treatment at the hospital, where she was taken into custody.
