(Adnkronos) – Turkish police have arrested an Uzbek national who was planning to carry out simultaneous attacks against Jewish schools and synagogues in Turkey and other countries. This was reported on the website of the Hurriyet newspaper, which specified that the man is affiliated with the Asian branch of the self-styled Islamic State (ISIS). Turkish security and intelligence forces uncovered the plan by infiltrating the terrorist network’s communication systems and deciphering encrypted discussions, the newspaper claims, which does not specify the alleged attacker’s targets or when he would have taken action.
