(Adnkronos) – A Doctors Without Borders (MSF) employee was “seriously injured” after gunshots were fired at an MSF base in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The organization announced it, adding that a child was also hit.
MSF condemns “in the strongest possible terms” the shooting at its base in the center of Masisi, in North Kivu province, which “seriously undermines the essential protection of humanitarian facilities”, reads a statement.
