(Adnkronos) – The Wuhan Institute of Virology was not involved in the creation or spread of the Covid-19 virus. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun during a press conference in Beijing. The institute, he added, has never conducted any research on gain of function in coronaviruses.
