(Adnkronos) – Swedish police have announced the arrest of a person in the Stockholm area suspected of preparing Islamic terrorist crimes. The Times of Israel reports.
The person is suspected of preparing a terrorist crime, aggravated participation in a terrorist organization, preparation for attempted murder and preparation for a violation of the law on the use of explosives, police said in a statement. The investigation is not linked to any previously opened case, it reads.
Police have not yet provided details on the identity of the arrested person and the target of the attack.
