(Adnkronos) – Career diplomat Andy Detaille is Belgium’s new envoy to Italy after he received president Sergio Mattarella’s seal of approval, the foreign ministry said on Monday in a statement.
Detaille has headed Belgium’s foreign ministry’s Directorate-General for European Affairs since September 2021 and is a former ambassador to Singapore, Kuwait and Libya, according to his Linked-In profile.
