(Adnkronos) – The death toll from the devastating fire that broke out this morning inside a hotel in Kartalkaya, a ski resort in northwestern Turkey, has risen to 66 dead and 51 injured. This was stated by the Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, meeting with journalists in Kartalkaya, which is located about 170 kilometers northwest of the capital Ankara.
“Our pain is great,” said Yerlikaya. “66 citizens lost their lives and another 51 were injured,” he explained.
