Indonesia, landslide in Java, 16 dead and 10 injured

(Adnkronos) – At least 16 people have died and another 10 have been injured in a landslide caused by heavy rains in Indonesia’s Central Java province. This was stated by Doni Prakoso, chief of police in the city of Pekalongan, to local broadcaster Metro Tv. 

“Sixteen people have been confirmed dead. Of the injured victims, 10 have been transferred to the nearest hospital,” Doni Prakoso said.
