(Adnkronos) – An Italian died and six other were injured in a road accident in traffic accident in Cuba’s southern coastal city of Cienfuegos, the foreign ministry said in a statement on Friday.
“The dynamics of the accident are still being ascertained,” said the statement.
Italy’s embassy in Havana has been providing assistance to the accident victims in coordination with the foreign ministry.
The embassy is in “constant contact” with medical personnel and with the tour operator, the statement said.
