(Adnkronos) – US President Joe Biden wished the new Trump administration success in his farewell address from the Oval Office. But at the same time, he warned: the Constitution must be amended to “make clear that no president” is “immune from crimes he commits while in office.” NBC notes, however, that a constitutional amendment would require great support and bipartisanship at both the federal and state levels, making it unlikely in the short term.
“The power of a president is not unlimited,” Biden said. “It is not absolute and it should not be,” he added.
