(Adnkronos) – The National Weather Service (NWS) has again issued warnings for “a particularly dangerous situation” for some areas of Los Angeles and Ventura, due to expected wind gusts, after the warnings were withdrawn yesterday due to lower than expected winds. The winds will not be as strong as last week’s, but at higher altitudes they could exceed 50 miles per hour. Similar gusts – the NWS specifies – could also occur at lower altitudes, which could cause the rapid spread of new fires out of control. Weather conditions are expected to begin to improve tomorrow, with winds expected to continue to decrease and cooler, more humid air over Southern California.
