Egypt ready to open Rafah crossing to receive hostages

(Adnkronos) – Egypt is preparing to open the Rafah border crossing to welcome Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners if a ceasefire agreement is reached. This was stated by Egyptian sources to the Al-Araby Al-Jadeed news agency, according to whom humanitarian aid and fuel will begin to enter the Gaza Strip through the border crossing from the first day of the ceasefire, along with mobile homes, tents and land reclamation machines. The release of sick and wounded hostages will begin one week after the start of the ceasefire.
