Armenia: Italian ambassador takes up post

(Adnkronos) – Italy’s new envoy to Armenia, Alessandro Ferranti, has taken up his post, vowing to boost bilateral ties and to forge new channels of cooperation in all areas. 

“Congratulations to Alessandro Ferranti, new Ambassador of Italy in Armenia,” the foreign ministry wrote on X (formerly Twitter). 

“Italy and Amenia are two countries bound by historic friendship and a common heritage of millenary civilisations. I will work with determination and commitment to enhance bilateral relations and promote new channels of cooperation in every field,” Ferranti stated.
