Syria: Ankara, ‘Turkey does not want to annex parts of territory’

(Adnkronos) – Turkey has no intention of seizing any part of Syria after the ouster of Bashar al-Assad. This was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. “Turkey has not set its sights on any part of Syrian territory,” he said at a press conference in Istanbul, as fears grow over Ankara’s threats against Kurdish forces in the war-torn country.
