(Adnkronos) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian welcomed the election in Lebanon of President Joseph Aoun, stating that ”Lebanese unity will defeat” Israel. In a message addressed to Aoun and relaunched by the Irna news agency, Pezeshkian stated that ”there is no doubt that the strengthening of stability and unity will defeat the Zionist enemy’s greed against Lebanese territory”.
