(Adnkronos) – US President Joe Biden has canceled his trip to Italy. The White House made it known, explaining that, “after returning from Los Angeles, where he met with law enforcement, firefighters and emergency personnel engaged in fighting the unprecedented fires that have devastated the California area, President Biden has decided to cancel his upcoming trip to Italy.
Biden was scheduled to leave in the next few hours. In Rome, he was to meet with Pope Francis, the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
