Africa: Chinese minister to visit Namibia, Congo, Chad and Nigeria

(Adnkronos) – Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Chinese Foreign Minister, will visit Namibia, the Republic of Congo, Chad and Nigeria from January 5 to 11, at the invitation of these countries, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning announced today. According to Mao, this will be the 35th consecutive year that the Chinese foreign minister will visit Africa on his first trip abroad at the beginning of the year.
