(Adnkronos) – The Kabul authorities revoke the ban imposed on Afghan women working for NGOs. This is what the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, asked for: “I am deeply alarmed by the recent announcement by the de facto authorities in Afghanistan that NGO licenses will be revoked if they continue to employ Afghan women. This is absolutely the wrong way to go,” he said.
